High quality and light shoes

I've only owned these for a week, but I really like them so far. The sizing is accurate, and the area toe area is generous. I do wish they came in a wide size, but that's a fault of my wide feet, not the shoe. They are light and very comfortable. They are a very practical minimalist shoe that does not sacrifice much, and the firm, zero drop sole is a very welcome feature in an American made shoe. They are sturdy enough that I climb ladders without issue, yet flexible enough to feel like a minimalist shoe. The only thing keeping these from being 5 stars for me is the grip on ice. These shoes are one of the worst on ice, which is odd because they are actually pretty good on snow. That almost makes it worse because you get good grip on snow, then that one bit of ice has you sliding. They are pretty good on wet floors, and while nothing special in mud, they don't collect mud either. If they could change the sole so it would grip ice better, it would be a 5 star. I am using these for work, and one other feature I'd like is an extra layer of leather just on the front of the toes for extra wear protection.
