Customer Reviews
I like the feel and fit of these shoes. They require a shoe horn to help put them on though. The tab at the back of the shoe is insufficient. It needs to be a loop that will hold a finger to assist the process.
Thank you for your review. We are taking note. We'll see if we can come up with a more suitable design in that sense.

Shoes are nice I like the feel but I think if this is your first time buying I would guy half a size smaller. I ended up just tightening mine a bit more to keep them from falling off my feet.
Thank you for your feedback. Generally, your usual shoe size works fine unless you purchase a bigger size to accommodate your toes. Many people do that without knowing it when they look for comfort in the open shoe market. You can order two sizes or print the layout on our sizing chart web page if this is your case.
I have tried all the major bearfoot/minimalist shoes and they all have the same problem they fall apart. None of them can stand up the the intense hiking & trail running I do but these shoes are incredible they are the first shoes that I have had that last more than a year for comparison I bought a pare of vivio barefoot and it fell apart in 2 months these shoes are amazing I will definitely buy again
Welcome to the SOM community! We appreciate hearing that you finally found what you were looking forward to and are taking the time to share your experience!
No fault of SOM but there were supply issues and I was kept informed the whole time- made the “issue” a non-issue. My first pair of this kind of shoe and i was leery- i have high arches and I expected pain! These shoes are subtly wonderful. I wear them all day from day one i’m not wearing them for pickleball- I can’t imagine the unnatural pounding would be good in a minimally cushioned shoe- but who knows- maybe I’ll even try that in a few months! I can believe that the long term effects SOM claims have merit. We shall see. Meanwhile, it’s such a pleasure to deal with SOM that I’ll probably get another pair soon! Cool shoes made in USA. (The made in USA was a HUGE factor in my purchase.)
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are pleased to know your SOMs are serving your high arch. This is something we are never sure about. Looking forward to hearing about your SOMs' adventures.
